Hi friends! I am Melissa Andrews, owner and creator of Natural Escapes.
I was not blessed with great skin! Growing up in Wyoming, we had harsh winters and hot, windy summers and we did not think much about skin health! It wasn't until I turned 19 and suffered from horrible acne that I started recognizing natural healing as a way to become vibrant and healthy inside and out. I became obsessed with studying natural health and healing and began experimenting with formulating my own products, with amazing results.
Over the next 25 years, that passion for natural health has turned into a skin care line made for people with real skin care concerns. The drive to make clean, natural and plant-based products was bolstered when my mother (in picture) was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. My mission is to make products that everyone can use safely and that deliver real results!
Natural Escapes Body products are made from all natural, organic and wholesome ingredients that work together to nourish, moisturize and protect your skin. All our products are cruelty-free and vegan! I believe in creating body care products that are healthy for our bodies and sustainable for the planet. As a result, our products contain NO petroleum by-products, animal by-products, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, glycols, paraffins, synthetic colors or fragrances. These harmful ingredients are abundant in body care products today, just read labels!
Besides using the highest quality all natural and organic ingredients, our products provide long-lasting moisture! Most lotions just sit on the skin creating a chemical barrier that feels like moisture that then dissipate within minutes. And worse, may even be harming our bodies! Our products use wholesome ingredients, such as olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and aloe vera that absorb into tissues and work on a cellular level to replenish moisture and nutrients. These products don't just disappear minutes after application, they work for hours to moisturize and nourish skin!
